Kent Rich is a plein air artist. You may have seen him sitting by the curb watching the light and shadows play across the face of a home. While he works, Kent tries to pick up and learn what he can about the home and its people. He sees each home as having a history and personality of its own, and that painting or sketching one is like creating a live portrait. In his art he tries to capture that personage, looking for the character that makes each home interesting, different and a part of its surroundings too. To see more of his work, visit his website.
